A graphite pencil portrait of actor James Franco on A1 paper. This hyper-realistic drawing was undertaken to challenge my illustration skills and to practise my eye for detail, light and shadow. I chose James Franco as the subject, as he has a distinctive, engaging smile, and lots of interesting lines and creases on his face.
