Daft Punk

This is a painting of the electronic music duo Daft Punk that I painted using acrylic paints on a 18"x15" canvas. This was a challenging piece due to the reflections in the helmets and the intricate sequin details on their jackets, however I am very pleased with the end result. I feel the trio of primary colours, blue, gold and black, combined with the sharp lines and smooth surfaces contrast well and come together to create a balanced and dynamic composition.
